About

We are Stadium Power Ltd.

Scott and Cathy MacDonald formed Stadium Power Ltd in 2005. Scott had several prior years of experience as a trade show electrician where he worked throughout Western Canada at various venues and has brought his expertise to Stadium Power. The staff have combined experience of more than 45 years in the field.

Stadium Power Ltd has since built a reputation as the premier electrical contractor for temporary power in Saskatoon and the surrounding area, having provided temporary power to most of Saskatoon’s major sporting events including the Vanier Cup, World Junior Hockey Championships, Tim Hortons Brier, Scotties Tournament of Hearts and others.  Stadium Power has also supplied temporary power to most of Saskatoon’s major cultural events – the Queen’s Centennial Gala, Juno Awards, Canada Remembers International Airshow, Taste of Saskatchewan, Walmart Walk for Miracles, The Saskatchewan Jazz Festival, PotashCorp Fringe Theatre, and Rock the River, to name a few.

In July of each year, Stadium Power brings the Ag in Motion site (Western Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show) near Langham, Saskatchewan alive by installing temporary electrical services to power up the equivalent of a small town.

In addition to installations of temporary power, Stadium Power also provides residential services.  Whether you’re building a new home, doing renovations, or have some repairs you need taken care of, we can provide you with a quote.  Stadium Power works with commercial properties and can install complete electrical systems including wiring for fire alarm systems, security and surveillance systems, lighting, phone and data networks.

Stadium Power is a member of the Prairie Sky Chamber of Commerce and is proud to sponsor and support several minor sports teams, registered charities, and non-profit organizations in both the Warman and Saskatoon areas.

We stand behind every team member at Stadium Power Ltd, and you can be confident your job will be done with professionalism, reliability, and commitment to quality of work.  Stadium Power views safety management as an integral part of our continuing success and we are committed to continual improvement and evaluation of our safety management systems.  Safety is our most important responsibility and our team members have all the necessary safety courses and certifications to get projects done safely.  Stadium Power maintains an excellent safety record.  We want to ensure our team goes home safely every day.
